International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology

Laxmi Institute of Technology hosted its 1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology (ICETET21), on 25th March 2021. The scientific deliberations at the conference covered a wide range of topics in Engineering, in the form of Keynote talks, invited talks, and contributory papers. ICETET21 is the platform for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Advances in Engineering and Technology. The conference brought together leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world.

Lighting of lamp

The ceremony started with the auspicious lamp lighting, followed by the welcome address by Dr. Basavaraj Patil – Patron (ICETET21). Dr. Subnarayan Sohoo, Adani Infrastructure, Ahmedabad, and Dr. Krupesh Chauhan, SVNIT, Surat were keynote speakers. More than 400 participants from India and across the globe gathered virtually to witness the program.

Dr. S. Sriram, Mr. Thomas Sebastian, Dr. Naimish Zaveri, Dr. Hitesh Mehta, Dr. S. Gopinath, Ms. Vignweshwari, Mr. P.S. Karant, Dr. Piyush Jain, Dr. Ravin Tailor, Dr. Jonarthan Joshi, Mr. Nandak Pandya, Ms. Sita Singh, Mr. Kaustab Arekar were the session chairs. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. R. Anjana – The convenor of the conference.

84 research papers have been presented by researchers from various parts of India and abroad. A total of 300 authors participated in the conference. The session included 5 parallel tracks covering the areas Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. A paper worth mentioning is “Application of biometric design in the concept of parent electric vehicle – MODULO” by Viera Konstantova, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zilina, Slovakia.

The success of the conference lies in how it affects all, and we are sure it will ignite new ideas in the minds of researchers.
