Reunion of Gajerians

An Institution’s alumni are the reflection of its past, representation of its present, and a link to its future. Alumni Reunion is a great way to relive the past by getting nostalgic & reminiscing good old days with former classmates. Reunion is a most awaited event for the alumni to experience the joyful moment of reuniting with their old friends across the globe, and the chance to relive some of the messy fun of college or school after a decade.

On 19 February 2021, Gajera Trust organized an Alumni meet-up. We invited many old students from 2005 to 2015 batch and organized a great evening party in which they received golden chance to meet a bunch of their old friends who all share a point in time or a few years of the same life history, and they were surprised how comforting it is sometimes to laugh and chat about the ‘good old days’.
The alumni started arriving on the school campus at 3.45 pm and they were received by the registration team. The alumni meet started with the lighting of the lamp seeking the blessings of almighty by our Trustee Mr. Chunibhai Gajera accompanied by our old students. The event started with a warm welcome speech by Mr. Jayesh Patel School Co-Ordinator, Gajera Trust. The alumni of different batches shared their ideas and thoughts. It was proceeded by a motivating speech by our trustee Mr. Chunibhai Gajera.

Having our Alumni back to where they belong brings back a lot of memories. They revisited the classrooms, where they studied, had fun and reminisced the old memories once again. They remembered their first day in school, some of them cried and wanted to go back home, but the day they left school to step into the bigger world, they realized what this institution truly means to them. Bidding farewell to one’s school is probably the toughest thing to do, and it is never easy to say goodbye.
Today, let us all open the windows of our minds, take a deep breath, and venture out into the land of dreams and happiness. Let us keep aside the responsibilities of adult life and indulge in the simple pleasure of childhood and innocence. Our Alumni have brought great glory to our institution. They have set the example of being successful and good human beings. They inspire us to have a clear conscience, the courage to speak the truth, and the importance of being authentic.
